Unweaving a piece of cloth is much harder than it sounds. The warp is reluctant to let go of the weft. The weft longs for the stability of the warp. It requires a slow loosening, a gentle pulling. Doing it too fast and you will cause the threads to bunch up, too slow and it takes for ever. Too many threads done at once and everything comes to a halt. I suppose releasing grief is the same. It is a slow process not to be rushed, but done gently and slowly.
