I feel like Peter Pan, trying to sew my shadow back on. Trying to stitch and repair a self that has been torn and broken. Soap, thread, nothing will truly repair a soul that has been violated. But like cloth or like skin, stitching can begin the process of repair. One stitch at a time. A thread, spun from cotton, or from a fiber made by a moth, can be a tiny powerful thing. One stitch added to another stitch, little steps that make up an entire journey.
